Hello again! We organize clubs of Europe's top 5 leagues into an order that reflects the up-to-the-minute hierarchy every Tuesday.
The rankings are a season-long measurement of clubs, tracking teams throughout 2018-19 and taking into account results from all competitions. Our rankings consider advanced stats, full-season play and recent performance with some gut feeling mixed in.
Sides that have lost the fewest games naturally rank higher—though the strength of opposition met in a loss is considered—and both UEFA Champions/Europa League form and presence are used as tiebreakers for those with similar records. Teams that gather big wins against strong opponents get a boost.
Defending champions of Europe's top five leagues, Champions League and Europa League can get relatively higher inizial points in the start of new season.

I hope CR7 will have a successful season in Juven. No wonder many people have Juve as one of the top 3 favorites to win the CL. It’s because of this guy. He may not at peak 50-goal a season level anymore but with his incredible attitude, mentality and hunger he just elevates the teams he is part of. What an incredible competitor he is, glad to have lived in his era

It's a great selection, but I think Chelsea should above Liverpool this week, and Barcelona should move to the Top, but all the same kudos to AF 👏 👏 👏

This is good but I must confess I totally thought that barca will be ahead of Madrid after there 1:1 draw with athletic club But at the moment United and Arsenal are the best lover so far they are just following each other at the back both in the league and now at the rankings

it depends on performance also, look at how Barca beated socidad, they were playing very bad although they won 2-1 and look how Madrid draw against Bilbao, they didn't play as bad as Barca but they only got a draw not win

It reminds me of Bale's saying they were working as one player (not as a unit) and they were all cogs in Ronaldo's personification of a team? must feel nice for the rest of the team to acquire person statuses again. anyway it was a team that looked unbeatable in CL and won 4 out of the last 5, possibly top5 European squads ever assembled, i find it very odd when someone says something bad about it (and i've never ever supported RM, au contraire). the confidence they were oozing was just impressive and, as annoying as it was for all the other teams, they mostly thoroughly deserved their good karma/luck. curious to see how they develop now, hopefully they will take a couple of years off from winning the CL.

UCL nights are back, finally. Juventus have an incredible team and it would be ambitious to expect anything more than a point across both the legs. Both the 'Young Boys' fixtures will arguably be our easiest games of the season, so we need to beat home & away.
