this is the main problem..messi is more famous than aguero but aguero played better than him this week..still there are more votes for Messi..thats the main reason why this voting involves injustice.. aguero deserves more..i m a Die hard messi fan but i know that for this week aguero deserves to be the best...though the voting is just for fun but there should be at least some justice man...agreed??

Ok, so it is known that i dont like Diego Costa's game attitude sometimes, trying to provoke opponents, but i will not be biased and i will give him my POTW vote. Yes, Messi was brilliant, but we expect nothing less from Leo, especially against Alaves. messi's vision was brilliant, as was his eye for goal. fact that he also scored in Juan Gamper in midweek is notable as well. Aguero got a hattrick, a brilliant one as well, but it was against a team that was just promoted last year.... not to take it away from him though. David Silva scored a brilliant goal, amazing to see. Pedro scored the goal, but other than that he wasnt too effective. Saul was good as usual, scoring with brilliant technique to net the winner, though sometimes fouled a bit too much. still one more game for him this week. one of my favorite young midfielders. Alonso was doing well again as we expected him to, kudos to him. Mendy's crossing. Carvajal himself gets a goal. now comes to the two i disagree with. Mkhitaryan, yeah sure 1 goal 1 assist, but he missed a huge chance, that really shouldve been put away. Walcott or Trippier shouldve gotten in over him. as for Sorrentino, good job man, but you cant repeat what Pacheco for alavez did, he was anazing with his reaction saves, probably prevented it from being 5 or 6, his saves on Dembele, Suarez, Coutinho, etc. were amazing, high quality. as for Costa, he is my vote because of how he completely wrecked the game, he was such a presence that caused so many headaches for Real madrid's back line, and he in the end even got a crucial brace

Marcos Alonso was superbb in the last match. Its great to see him in the squad. He had played a major role in Chelsea's win over Arsenal. He is improving a lot nowadays. He is becoming one of the best left backs. It's Marcos Alonso for you

I think ederson should be up there. First of all he only allowed one goal in the whole ninety minutes. Sorrenntino did a great job but the reason he got so many saves is because his defense isn't very good, plus they were playing juve. Also how often do you see a goalkeeper make an assist.

I think Sergio Aguero should get the best player of the week, scoring a hat-trick against brighton in a 6-1 win against them. You may think even without him man city would still have won. But him scoring gives the team confidence and makes brighton lose confidence playing even worse. Having a 33.3% goal conversion rate, with a outstanding total of 9 shots in that game converting 3 of them into goals...Its hard for me to say it as i am a man utd fan but aguero really deserves it
