Alphonso Davies has returned to training for Bayern Munich after being diagnosed with myocarditis in January.
The Canadian full-back has not been able to play for the club since then, but appears to now be on the road to recovery.
"Davies' heart muscle swelling is gone," said coach Julian Nagelsmann.
According to Bayern Munich, the player "will gradually integrate into the team over the next three or four weeks but, for the time being, Davies must only undergo a moderate workload".
Myocarditis has been a commonly reported side-effect of the COVID-19 vaccine, which Davies has received two doses of, although any link in Davies' case has not been reported.
