Manchester United's Amad Diallo has described his 120th winner against Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals as the best goal of his career.
Diallo found the net in dramatic fashion to make it 4-3 to United at Old Trafford as he applied the finishing touch following a counter-attack.
There was further drama to come, with the 21-year-old being sent off for a second bookable offence after removing his shirt in celebration.
Diallo, who had come on as a substitute, admitted after the game that he had forgotten about his first yellow, which had come just six minutes earlier.
Speaking on ITV, Diallo said: 'What a game. I think we deserved this win. We played very good, one of the best games of the season also.'
Asked if his goal is the best he's ever scored, the 21-year-old replied: 'I think so. It's an important moment, so I think it's the best goal of my career.'
'I don't believe but this is football. You need to believe every single moment. I'm happy to score.'
Diallo expressed his disappointment with being sent off but emphasised that securing victory was the most important aspect of the game.
He said: 'I forgot the first yellow. I'm very disappointed for that, a red card, but the most important for me is to win and against a big team like Liverpool is a big, big moment for me.'
'Everyone came to me and said congratulations. I want to thank everyone, the fans were superb all game.'
United are now through to the semi-finals of the FA Cup, where they will take on Championship side Coventry City.
Diallo has had some difficult moments this season as he struggled with injury and hasn't been given many opportunities since returning to action.
However, the youngster provided an indication of what he is capable of against Liverpool.
In an enthralling encounter, United had taken the lead through Scott McTominay before Liverpool equalised courtesy of Alexis Mac Allister, with Mohamed Salah then putting the visitors ahead.
Antony's goal sent the game to extra-time, with Harvey Elliott making it 3-2 to Liverpool.
However, Marcus Rashford equalised for United before Diallo's decisive intervention.

Nah it doesn't matter, both him and Antony changed the game for Manchester United. He played very well also first time in a while that I watched Antony play his heart out. Onana was very brilliant with those saves, Garnacho was active the whole game and was very vital with 2 assists but Rashford is quite lucky that they didn't lose because He really played nonsense
