Ruben Amorim has reportedly appointed separate coaches to work with different parts of Manchester United's squad as he sees to overhaul the club's fortunes.
Man United's head coach has sought to make changes from Erik ten Hag's reign, with the 39-year-old's approach to training among them.
According to The Telegraph, Amorim has delegated different coaches to work with defenders, midfielders and forwards.
Ten Hag, by contrast, had reportedly overseen training sessions featuring all members of Man United's squad.
Amorim had revealed at a press conference on Friday that Carlos Fernandes has been working with Man United's forwards.
The 29-year-old has been Amorim's trusted lieutenant since he was 23 at Casa Pia, where he was initially not receiving a salary.
Fernandes had been a key figure as Amorim rebuilt Sporting Lisbon and will aiming to get a tune out of Man United's misfiring forwards.
Fellow assistants Adelio Candido and Emanuel Ferro have reportedly also been designated different areas of Man United's squad to train, while Jorge Vital was the goalkeeper coach Amorim brought over from Sporting.
Amorim's staff also included sports scientist Paulo Barreira and analyst Eduardo Rosalino, while current Man United coaches Darren Fletcher, Andreas Georgson and Craig Mawson were retained.
Amorim and his coaching staff have taken to guiding the players through it in slow motion rather than using lengthy video demonstrations.
‘I was a football player,’ said Amorim with a smile. ‘Videos more than 12 minutes? Forget! Because they lose concentration. Instead of video, we do it like walking – and jogging – it’s a way to do it. Showing some video.
‘Then we have all the staff. For example, Carlos (Fernandes) is with the strikers. They will show individual moments. So we will try to cope with that. Everyone has a job in the staff and they are more important maybe than me.
‘We try to see the game and what is missing. They are very good players, they need to believe and we will show individual stuff. Team stuff. And if you cannot run, you can jog.’
