Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim questioned the decision-making of Marcus Rashford's advisors following comments made about his future at Old Trafford.
Rashford was quoted in an interview with Henry Winter as wanting "a new challenge" after being left out of the Red Devils' win over Manchester City earlier this month.
Since then, the 27-year-old has been left out of Amorim's last three matchday squads, which included their EFL Cup defeat to Tottenham and Sunday's loss to Bournemouth.
This season, only Amad Diallo (eight) and Bruno Fernandes (eight) have been involved in more goals than Rashford (five) in the Premier League.
And Amorim is keen to separate the off-field choices made by those around Rashford to help the forward return to his ranks and help improve him as a player.
"It's a hard situation. I understand these players have a lot of people around them, making choices that are not the first idea from the player," Amorim told Sky Sports.
"They chose to do the interview as it is not just Marcus. At the moment, I'm focused on improving him. We need a talented guy like Marcus and I forget the interview now.
"We will deal with the future when the time comes."
United will be hoping to return to winning ways on Boxing Day against Wolves, starting the day in 13th place, which is their lowest ever Premier League position at Christmas.
In both Premier League and English Football League history, the Red Devils have won more games and scored more goals on Boxing Day than any other side (22 wins, 74 goals in the Premier League, 54 wins, 202 goals all time).
United have also won seven of their last eight Premier League games against Wolves, with the exception being a 1-0 home defeat in January 2022.
But they have lost three of Amorim's six league matches, while Rashford has scored three goals in his six appearances under his new manager in all competitions.
The Portuguese manager initially cited "the performance in training, the way you dress, the way you eat, the way you engage with your teammates" as reasons for leaving Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of the Manchester derby.

Amo is just focusing on useless starf, you need to install unit not division in order to coqure, there must be trust among father and sons, you cannot jump in and start to tell players they're useless, you don't have plans with them, this is EPL even if you bring the whole Sporting CP with you you will be relagated, it's a league of the wise stop bossy bossy attitude and work with the players you have.
these bunch of players need this kind of approach they have been pumpered enough previously let give amorim time to do his work in this guy I sense glory again he is a true technician and intelligent

I blame Amorim’s advisers , are they advising you to divide players and victimise players for no apparent reason . For me it’s Man U managers messing up when they are appointed . Amorim talks too much , and he forgets players are human beings , mature adults working for the good of their families , being a coach is not being god .
why don't you people who getup every day defending lazy players don't sit down with the same players and tell them to grow up and start work for the wages they are paid rashford collect tree hundreds and twenty five thousand dollars every week and give nothing in return for it and all of you idiots sit down and defend him for his selfish and lazy behavior he is getting pay to perform not go partying so if you can't advise him to be a better person shet the FK up

why every united new coach always has one or two players issues
No the question is why when a manager drops players who done bad in training, he gets slack? 😂 If you aren't good in training obviously you don't deserve to start, it's the same players too ten hag was right all along. Garnacho thinks he's vini Jr good, nd Rashford thinks he's Pele but in reality they ain't tho. The coach get blamed for doing his job

Amorim needs to find a scapegoat for the problems and poor performances which he is facing now
That would be the players fault for not performing good. They are the ones on the pitch, he trains them as have other coaches in their careers so how can you be so bad, how much training do you think footballers need. They done the same shit all their lives and aren't getting any better why? Cause they reached the full potential not that hard to see.

Mr Amorim just let Rashford play until the end of season , he will change him self think a bout injury .
Rashford walks around doing nothing, has 0 passion so why the f would you keep a player tha literally plays bad in every single match, no wonder we get the same results under every manager cause we have bad players like Rashford at the club, the only manager he looked good under was ten hag and even then he gave up and pushed the guy under the bus. Just like the did with ole.

Thank god we don't listen to people like you, Rashford walks around doing nothing in every game nd blind fans like you would like to see him stay? But then complain when he does nothing for 90 minutes, he has no passion you get rid of people that dont have passion. Not keep them. Would pep keep a player who isn't passionate? Nope, would Mourinho? Nope, would klopp? Nope, would sir alex? Nope, would any manager? Absolutely not. You fake fans need to give the head a wobble.

United fans are now saying the reality, before they were blaming Rashford for saying his mind that he need a new challenge, without finding out what causes the matter, I believe before Rashford can make such statement there must be something going on that no one knows
