Ruben Amorim insists he hasn’t taken criticism from Sean Dyche personally because the new Nottingham Forest boss was working as a pundit at the time.
Dyche, who returned to management at the City Ground earlier this month, claimed on two podcasts last summer that he would win more games than Amorim at Manchester United playing a 4-4-2 system, opposed to the Portuguese’s 3-4-2-1.
As the two men go head to head on Saturday, Amorim gave Dyche the benefit of the doubt, saying: ‘First of all, maybe it's true if we play 4-4-2 we would win more games, but I always said that I have a way of playing that is going to take a while. In the future it's going to be better. So we don't know that.
‘Then I can look at Sean Dyche as a manager and then as a pundit. If you are a pundit and you don't say very strong things, I don't want to watch you! I'm the same. So I can understand that it's a completely different job. I know that Sean Dyche is really smart and he knows how to play the game.
‘And he also understands that one thing is when we are seeing the game and talking about the game, the other thing is to coach a team. So I understand that, I have nothing to say, I just want to win the next game.’
On Dyche’s first two games in charge, Amorim added: ‘I watched against Porto, I watched against Bournemouth, the style of play is similar with different characteristics.
‘So we need to be prepared for a different game against Brighton. We had space to play and we are not going to have that space. You need to understand that we are not being the same team away and at home, so we need to improve the way we control the environment.
‘Every tackle is a big moment for the opponent's fans, so we need to play better away. We are prepared for a very tough match.’
Meanwhile, Amorim admitted that United are going to ‘suffer’ when Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo go to the African Cup of Nations in December and January, but believes it will present an opportunity to some of his fringe players.
‘We will have time to suffer,’ he said. ‘We are going to struggle a little bit, but we already knew it's going to be an opportunity. When I watch the training, there are players that should be playing, but it's hard with one game to take some players from the team, because they are doing well also during the training in games. So other players are going to have the opportunity to help us.
‘They are understanding the way we want to play, so if we are improving on that, the change of characteristics is not going to change the idea or the momentum of the team. But let's use Amad and Bryan in these games and we will see in general.’

Are you a Man United fan if I may ask? Don't you have quality wingers and an explicit forward who is struggling a bit to adapt but even all this he has already bagged two goals and an assist for himself compared to Chelsea's overrated João Pedro. We all know Benjamin Sesko is not finding the back of the net due to the lack of unity in the team. Each player wants to go for glory on their own. I can promise you this that if the team was balanced and had a common goal of feeding the striker Seskk would have been competing with Haaland by now.

Amorim will still be fired. More loses on the horizon
Just being stupid aren't you Most of you don't have what it takes to support a club. When Man United were in their glory days weren't you supporting them so why can't you still do same even in hard times as this. Although I know three consecutive wins is not convincing at least we all need to support the coach and the players for holding our heads high.

You guys do you even understand the concept football. All you guys do is get up and give silly comments about sacking a manager if he loses a game. If a handful of you here claim you are Man United fans you would know that even our greatest coach Sir Alex Ferguson struggled before making history. I think we're going to beat Sean Dyche on Saturday. Just wait and see...

Manchester United's main issue isn't midfield, it's the lack of quality on the wings and backup strikers. We need a right-winger, left-winger, left-wingback, and a backup for Sesko. And with AFCON looming, we need reinforcements ASAP to fill the gaps left by our African stars. It's puzzling that others don't see this. Our bench is thin and won't cut it if we want to compete for the top spot. That being said, I trust the gaffer's judgment - he's seeing something in training that we aren't. If he's hyping up some youngsters, let's give them a chance to prove themselves. Let's wait and see what they can bring to the pitch.
my friend the system of the coach does not need a lot of wingers and that is the reason why players like garnacho had to go

I'd rather starting to paper yesterday. And one thing you can't have a disagreement, but why were these? Why was somebody do that like? I would I think this is ridiculous, but why would they put all that behind them? Had a friend of mine yesterday. He was talking. It's the guy that ran this price, right? He ran a history in other I only had yesterday. And like. then he goes, did you see all the particular it wasn't that really, I'm, did you think was rather had many years ago? And the question was, I was rather retained, it was absolutely ridiculous.I put , I thought I thought was absolutely

That's a lunch bar... it's obvious bro we've beaten tough opponents in Liverpool & Brighton so Forest with their 🆕 coach are nothing to us if their last performance is anything to go by
But brr we just have to prove that we are a better team bcuz that’s new coach will want to prove something

Why would someone ask them about a question? Folks, it is a latest to nothing to do with that problem. The television day, are they trying to make up? Necessity of knowing what kind of equipment how's gotten any impervise position of it like it was improvised because what they, because the only way that they tried to make largingly is the look around and say, okay, I've got a problem. My only problem with that. Is to make you sort if the I know that okay? Why was seventy make us like recognize what is happening so far is anybody
