According to TuttoMercato, Brazil coach Ancelotti tops the list of coach salaries for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with an annual salary of 9.5 million euros.

Ancelotti took over the Brazilian team after leaving Real Madrid in May 2025, and then renewed his contract with the Brazilian Football Confederation, ensuring that he would coach the team until the end of the 2030 FIFA World Cup cycle. The Brazilian Football Confederation has invested heavily in this, hoping that this famous coach with 31 trophies will lead the national team back to the top of the world. England coach Tuchel ranks second with an annual salary of 5.9 million euros, and Germany coach Nagelsmann ranks third with 4.9 million euros.

Also on the list are Uzbekistan coach Cannavaro and Portugal coach Martinez, both with an annual salary of 4 million euros. They are followed by France coach Deschamps, with an annual salary of 3.8 million euros; Uruguay coach Bielsa, with an annual salary of 3.5 million euros; and Netherlands coach Koeman, with an annual salary of 3 million euros. Argentina coach Scaloni's ranking is somewhat surprising. As the current FIFA World Cup winning coach, he only ranks 10th with an annual salary of 2.3 million euros. Ahead of him is Paraguay coach Alfaro, whose annual salary is 2.5 million euros, but his team has suffered a major setback after losing to the United States in their first match.
