First words from André Onana as a player of Trabzonspor.
The Cameroonian has released some statements upon landing at the airport in Trabzon:
I've just arrived and I can say I'm very happy. I'm starting a new project, a new adventure for me, and I'm very happy to be here. It's a very rewarding feeling to feel so much love from the people around you, they make you feel at home from the very first moment. I want to start working and reciprocate that love, making them happy on the field.
Onana's first assignment is not the easiest, as it is against Fenerbahce, which announced its new coach, Domenico Tedesco, in recent days. And above all, he will meet Milan Skriniar again, his teammate during the 2022/23 season at Inter:
Of course I'm ready, I'm always ready. In fact, I'd say I'm ready for this kind of thing. Every player wants to play and be involved in this type of game. Sure, we'll be playing against an important and strong opponent. But we're also aware of our strengths. It will be an important game for us.
29 years old, Onana leaves Manchester United after two very disappointing seasons, despite the English club having invested 50 million euros to prise him away from Inter. With the Red Devils, he made 102 appearances in all competitions, conceded 150 goals and kept 24 clean sheets. Among the few satisfactions, the FA Cup won in May 2024 by beating in the final the much-despised cousins of Manchester City.

So Onana brought Manchester to this so Onana brought Manchester to this level? How many goals dis your attackers score during the last season. Did your attackers score goals? What about the porous defense off Man City? Not to talk of the useless midfielders in the likes of Ugarté, Casimero and Fernandes. Hoijlund who just left to Milan scored how many goals? Have you people sent insults like these to him. Zirkyee who also came, did what last season? I think we shouldn't blame Onana alone. He has left and we shall see the performance of your new keeper as from Sunday against City
Okay let’s agree that you’re right. Now what about the shots that was played directly to him and he was suppose to do his job by catching them and then end up in blunders?

Manunited is very toxic club with very useless fans base and awful pundits called ex- players. This is a club destined for failure. The club, the fans and ex-players turned pundits need to humble themselves if they want success. From the very first day Onana came to this club, he was always compared with David de Gea. He came straight away and was put under pressure by useless fans and pundits.
yet he didn't give 20% of what de gea gave

Compared to de gea? When. Onana is the worse gk in the history of United. We'd always say we want Onana to be able to make saves like de gea, which he never did once since joining the club. Other than that we didn't compare him at all.

The world we live in is all about challenges, you sleep and you wake up is still a challenge. But if continuous you keep making the same mistakes over and over again then you are not ready to wake up and improve from your slumber and note that every club would always make you feel at home till you begin to make what we call continuous error of commission.
Onana was an outstanding goalkeeper at Inter, what happened to hima at ManU. My Opinion, they put much pressure on him, yeah, ManU is a big a big team in England and there is tendency of that pressure but Onana is not that really ab dad goalkeeper, yeah, error here a d there but no one above that. Encouragement matters a lot but when we keep pulling someone down, it will affect my moral. We are all humans. Best of luck to him
