ANGE POSTECOGLOU took a bizarre swipe at Sky Sports after Nottingham Forest's defeat to Newcastle.
The Aussie manager is still waiting for his first win since taking over at the dugout seven games ago.
Forest were second best all afternoon as the Magpies eased to a 2-0 win at St James' Park.
Goals from Bruno Guimaraes and Nick Woltemade heaped more misery onto the East Midlands side.
Postecoglou was already under pressure heading into the game - and is now winless in his seven games in charge.
There had been suggestions that he could be sacked before the game if it did not end in a positive result.
After the game, he was asked about his future and motivation by Sky Sports and he was quick to make a swipe at the broadcaster.
He said: "It's alright, where it always is, it is a struggle, it is a fight, it is what we do.
"It does not worry me, that is why I love what I do.
"I could have been sitting on the couch, watching you guys, depending who's on, probably on mute.
"I prefer to be here, right in the middle of it, where I can have an effect and I believe I will."
It was not clear who he was referring to but previously had a back-and-forth with pundit Jamie Carragher.
The former Liverpool defender had been critical of Postecoglou's tenure at Spurs last season.
Forest have also had previous run-ins with Sky Sports as Gary Neville caused a row with owner Evangelos Marinakis.
The Manchester United legend accused the owner of running the club like a "mafia gang", which led to him being banned from the City Ground.
Meanwhile, Postecoglou was also asked if he believes he could turn things around at Forest.
He joked: "Yes, it’s a lost cause!
"Seriously – what’s wrong with something being hard?
"Why do we just want something easily packaged? It seems to be these days it’s 'That’s it, wrong, break it up'.
"Everything that needs something fixed is invariably going to go through a tough time.
"Beyond it being a lost cause, I see it as an exciting opportunity. You have to be up for the fight and struggle.
"You think I would be sitting here at the age of 60 if I lacked self-belief or lacked fight?
"Even in the schoolyard, I picked fights with people who beat me up.
"I get that it’s part of the fanfare around the Premier League that there needs to be a manager who is always under the spotlight but I think like most other managers, we enjoy having this kind of challenge."
After the defeat to Newcastle, Postecoglou was subjected to "You're getting sacked in the morning" chants from the fans.
It is the second time in a matter of days that the chants have been aimed at him as the City Ground crowd blasted him after the Europa League defeat to Midtjylland on Thursday.

I can smell the egg on the faces of the journalists from here. Ask silly questions and get the answers you deserve. Getting sacked means millions in your bank account. Those asking the silly questions deserve to be muted and it never comes to their mind that it's millionaires just from being sacked and it shouldn't be a shame especially after a few weeks into the contract. The idiot is the owner of Forest who deserves all the silly questions they can come up with.
