Alvaro Arbeloa has held his first training session as head coach of the Infantil A team at Real Madrid.
The former right-back takes charge of the Under-14s team at Valdebebas - the same age group coached by Xabi Alonso two years ago.
"I'm very excited and very happy to start as a coach at my home, Real Madrid, where I came through as a player," Arbeloa told Real Madrid's website.
Arbeloa will be joined by Alvaro Lopez, who also came through the academy at Los Blancos, on the coaching staff
The Infantil A team includes the son of Jose Antonio Reyes, Jose Antonio Reyes Jr, who signed for Real Madrid last summer.
