Argentina win is nice, we aim to be champions - James on Colombia's great opener

James Rodriguez got the best of Lionel Messi in the Copa America on Saturday, leading Colombia to a 2-0 win over Argentina in the teams’ debut in the South American tournament.

The playmaker had the ball in Colombia's own field before finding Martinez with a long pass toward the area. The forward picked up the ball and cut toward the middle before firing a mid-height shot toward the far corner to open the scoring.

About the win: "It is nice to win after so many years, the most important thing is that we have all made a tremendous effort and I want to congratulate all the boys because we are doing something great, it is a good day for everyone.

A solid team on all the lines: "In these short tournaments like this, you have to be in form, we know that in the end win the team which make fewer mistakes. We still have a lot of room for improvement, but I think we played very well today".
