Arsenal played out an entertaining 2-2 draw against Sporting CP yesterday.

Arsenal drew 2-2 with Sporting CP in the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 clash.
William Saliba's first-half opener was cancelled out by Goncalio Ignacio before Paulinho gave the Portuguese outfit the lead just after half-time. However, a freak own goal from Hidemasa Morita levelled the scoreline in Lisbon, leaving next week's second leg at the Emirates Stadium wide open.
But first, Mikel Arteta's men will travel to Craven Cottage on Sunday when they will take on Marco Silva's Fulham in the Premier League. Arsenal have been told Juventus star Adrien Rabiot, who will see his contract expire at the end of the season, is a better fit for them than Manchester United.
Speaking to DAZN BET, former Champions League winner Florent Malouda believes his fellow frenchman is better suited to the Gunners as opposed to United.
He said: "Adrien Rabiot would make a good signing. He’s match fit and he’s playing a lot. But I think he’d be better suited to Arsenal than Man Utd. Although he would be a great signing for anyone with his abilities, he can play in many different positions.
"But it’s important that he has a connection with the coach, that he’s being used well. He’s very talented. You can see for France, he’s doing a lot of work, a lot of dirty work to compensate for the attacking players and he helps to balance any team. He’s a talented player."

Well as a die hard supporter....I do appreciate the effort effort and level of team play by the squad....a lot of possession in most matches dat ultimately does not translate to GOALS.... Also their is too much casual play at the back that leads to the team conceding VERY CHEAP GOALS...which is obviously not good for the team. Moving forward, concerted effort must be made to improve the defence ability to contain set pieces and playing from the back....about 80% of the GOALS conceded this season are from defensive errors and poor judgment within and around the 20 yards box....Again the strikers and attacking midfield players should strive to SHOOT AT GOAL FROM AND WITHIN THE 20 YARD BOX RATHER THAN ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A PERFECT WALK IN FINISH. I believe they have the capacity to improve and consolidate on their present form...my humble opinion. Good luck and best wishes always. shalom Dele Ezeoba

It was not a bad result with the level of injuries in the team and illness to Odegaard and Tieney. No thanks to all our strikers injured. Fulham game coming so close on Sunday the Coach made some reservations. It will be appreciated to have Odegaard and at least one of our strikers back against Fulham. We can't afford to drop any point in the league. We have difficult away derbies and 2nd leg of Europa at home. Hope the likes of Saka, Partey Xhaka, Odegaard and the rest are fit for the next my matches. It's really challenging and we need some lucks.
