Arsenal sets new champions league final record for lowest possession with 24.7%

On May 31st, Beijing time (CEST), in this season's Champions League final, Arsenal scored first in the 6th minute, but ultimately battled Paris Saint-Germain to a penalty shootout and unfortunately missed out on the championship.

According to statistics after the match, Arsenal's possession rate in this Champions League final was only 24.7%, which set a new record for the lowest possession rate by a participating team in a Champions League final since relevant statistics began in the 2003-04 season, breaking Arsenal's own previous record of 29.7% possession when they played against Barcelona with 10 men in the 2006 Champions League final.
