Arsenal completed the £105million signing of Declan Rice this month yet many Premier League players have been the focus of Saudi Arabian clubs this summer

Arsenal star Declan Rice has sent a one-word message to England team-mate Jordan Henderson ahead of his transfer exit from Liverpool. Henderson has agreed a deal to sign for Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq - which is managed by Reds legend Steven Gerrard.

It has been a busy summer for English midfielders joining new clubs with Rice completing a £105million move to the Emirates Stadium after Jude Bellingham joined Spanish giants Real Madrid. The Gunners star lined up alongside Henderson at the World Cup in Qatar but both players were unable to help the Three Lions win the tournament after being knocked out by France in the quarter-finals.

Henderson announced he will be leaving Liverpool with a goodbye message on Instagram - in which he confirmed his exit after 12 years at Anfield. The England international posted a video with the caption: "It's hard to put these last 12 years into words and it's even harder to say goodbye.

"I will always be a Red. Until the day I die.

"Thank you for everything. You'll never walk alone. Jordan *love heart emoji*."

Chelsea star Reece James responded to Henderson's post with the comment: "Good luck mate. Legend forever."

Rice had a similar response to James as the Arsenal star posted a simple one-word comment. "Legend," the England international responded to Henderson's Liverpool exit message.
