Arsenal have suspended academy coaches Steve Gatting and Carl Laraman amid allegations of bullying.
The Gunners have taken swift action after learning of the accusations aimed at their two coaches.
An Arsenal spokesman confirmed: 'We have suspended two coaches and launched an investigation following complaints from some players.
'These are private matters and we will not discuss any further detail.' Gatting and Laraman, who look after Arsenal's U23's, are now subject of an internal investigation.
The pair were due to take charge of the U23's in their Premier League International Cup final against Porto on Tuesday, but were not in the dugout.
And it has now emerged the absence was down to their suspensions over allegations of bullying academy players.

Who'd be a sports coach? I honestly don't see how you can draw the distinctions between bullying and legitimate 'testing' as a means of spurring a player on. Surely it's part of a youth coach's (and in this case we're talking U23s, not a bunch of 12 year olds) job to root out the players are going to buckle at the first sign of pressure? An 18yo plus player who crumbles when shouted at is *not* someone who is likely to make it in professional sport. Junior athletes, and female athletes coached by men, is an incredibly tricky area, but with young adult men I actually have difficulty in imagining what form bullying might take which couldn't equally be regarded as 'tough love'.
