If the two opening Premier League defeats - and the leaked fastest players tables - prove anything, it's that Arsenal need more pace in the team.
Celtic's Moussa Dembele is rated one of the best, and quickest, young strikers in Europe, with Unai Emery's side again linked with his signature.
They were linked with the Frenchman back in 2017 and now La Provence say Dembele is still on the list, with French club Marseille also claimed to be interested in the youngster.
Marseille still have a chance of snapping him up this window, but Celtic are unlikely to let their star man go so quickly.
That will allow Arsenal more chance to get a bid together for the hitman in the January transfer window.
Arsenal revealed as most expensive Premier League club to follow
The staggering cost of attending Premier League games as a fan has been revealed with Arsenal hit hardest.
The cost of tickets is spiralling out of control with fans taken advantage of through outrageously priced food and drink.
According to FreeSuperTips Arsenal fans can expect to pay £105.40 on average for a ticket, pie and a pint this season.
Even more eye-watering is the cost for supporters over the whole campaign - £2,002.60 - and that doesn't even include cup ties.
Unai Emery on a long road to the top with Arsenal
Alan Smith fears it will be a "long road back" for Unai Emery to stop Arsenal from being a soft touch.
Smith has never shied away from being outspoken about his former club, even being ostracised by ex-team mates after some felt he overstepped the mark on Sky and in print, particularly after the Battle of Old Trafford in 2003.
Arsenal legend Smith was equally hard hitting about the tail end of Arsene Wenger's reign and he can already see marked improvements since Emery took over in the summer.
Smith said: "The first two games were always going to be difficult and there are things you'd hoped he would have eradicated in terms of tracking runners or dealing with long balls over the top. But I guess old habits die hard."
Tony Adams slams Unai Emery's approach - says he's destined to fail
Tony Adams is not impressed by Unai Emery and believes the Spaniard is destined to fail at Arsenal.
Despite just two games in charge of the Gunners, Adams has dismissed the style of play the former Paris Saint-Germain boss is trying to implement.
Arsenal will look to get their first points on the board against West Ham this weekend after losses to Manchester City and Chelsea, but the Gunners legend is pessimistic about the future under Emery.
