Arsenal has lost its aura since Arsene Wenger left in 2018.
Bischoff, now playing his football with Bahlinger in Germany, remains a fan of the Gunners and still watches every game when he can.
But the 32-year-old, who was born in France but represented Portugal at Under-21s level, says the things now feel very different without Wenger at the helm.
“Of course I still follow Arsenal,” Bischoff told Goal in an exclusive interview.
“Every week I watch Arsenal and see how they do. But now [under Unai Emery] is not like it was 10 years ago. For me, Arsenal without Wenger is not the same.
“Arsenal without Wenger is not Arsenal.”
A poor start to the season has seen pressure build on Emery, with his side sitting sixth in the Premier League - eight points adrift of the top four.

Wenger put arsenal in this mess. he refused to buy good replacements for Henry, Fabregas, song, van Pacey, Adebayo, kanu, Viera etc. Wenger would not have bought Pepe for sixty million pounds even if the money would be paid by 2040. the players emiry have now, give them to kloop and give kloop players now to Emiry, kloop will beat emiry. which manager will play Saka ahead of Ozil. which manager will have Pepe, Aubameyang, and Lacazette without scaring it's opponents. do you know that the point man in Liverpool is not in top ten goal chart as at now and he did not made top ten last season, I mean Fermino but Mane and Sala covers for him because they have those who can supply the balls to them at the right place and the right time. Lacazette works more than Sala, but Sala scores more than Lacazette because of Mane and other players. Guoadouzi is not a good ball distributor so is Torrera and xhaka. our left back in person of Kolasinatch does not make any cross into the opponents six or eighteen yard box. how does Geroud score his goals for arsenal and chealsea. as it stands now, give me arsenal team and I will give you top three including the Europa.
