Arsenal's Highbury store cordoned off by police tape after alleged 4am break-in

Arsenal's official store near the Emirates Stadium was cordoned off by police this morning following an alleged overnight raid.

One of the doors was left on the ground with another hanging off its hinges following the break-in.

The shop on Drayton Park, north London was targeted between 3.30am and 4.30am, according to the Metropolitan Police.

Police tape surrounding the pavement by the shop told people not to cross as the authorities carried out their investigation.

Police cars hung around for hours and a forensic team was deployed.

'The Met is investigating a theft at the Emirates Stadium shop, Drayton Park, which occurred in the early hours of Friday, 14 August,' a spokesperson said.

'We understand the concern such incidents cause to retail workers and local communities.

'Although no arrests have been made at this stage, officers are working at pace to conduct forensic examinations and gather CCTV to identify and locate those responsible.'

Arsenal's club shop sells some of the priciest gear in the Premier League.

The base price for a men's home shirt for the 2026-27 season is £85.

However, prices can soar with modifications - an authentic away shirt with Bruno Guimaraes' name and number on the back costs £146.
