Mikel Arteta has called on Arsenal to use the "rage" caused by their surprise defeat to Bournemouth when they visit Paris Saint-Germain for a do-or-die Champions League clash.
Four days on from a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to PSG in the first leg of their European semi-final tie, Arsenal were beaten at the Emirates Stadium again on Saturday.
Declan Rice put the Gunners ahead late in the first half, but Dean Huijsen and Evanilson struck after the break to flip the game on its head.
Arsenal have now won just one of their last five Premier League matches (three draws, one defeat) and are just three points clear of third-placed Manchester City with three games remaining.
Should Newcastle United, Chelsea and Nottingham Forest win their games on Sunday and Monday, Arteta's men could yet face a battle to secure a top-five finish.
Arsenal go to the Parc des Princes for their return leg against PSG on Wednesday, hoping to become just the third team to reach the Champions League final after losing the first leg of their semi-final tie at home, after Ajax in 1996 and Tottenham in 2019.
And Arteta wants them to draw on the pain of Saturday's loss, telling BBC Match of the Day: "We started the game and a lot of the things we wanted happened.
"We should have killed the game, and we didn't. On top of that, if you defend your box from two set-pieces in the way we have done, you're in big, big, trouble.
"We should have put the game to bed. We defended really poorly, nowhere near the standards that we are used to.
"We wanted to generate the momentum and a really positive vibe today β we haven't.
"What we have created is frustration, rage and anger β we have to make sure we use that on Wednesday."
Arsenal conceded two goals from set-piece situations (excluding penalties) in the same Premier League game for the first time since December 2023 against Luton Town.
It was also the first time the Gunners lost a home Premier League game having led at half-time since January 2022 (2-1 versus Man City), halting a streak of 63 such matches without defeat (53 wins, 10 draws).
It also meant Bournemouth completed their first-ever league double over Arsenal, having never previously avoided defeat on their travels against them in all competitions, in eight attempts.
The result provides a major boost to the Cherries' hopes of claiming eighth place and potentially reaching the Europa Conference league, and coach Andoni Iraola knows how important the three points could be.
He told BBC Sport: "I think we needed this one because we know the schedule we have. Arsenal, Aston Villa, City... you have to get points where you don't expect to.
"We missed a few chances recently and we needed it to go our way this time.
"I liked the game overall. The key was the set-plays in the second half. In the end, in these close games, making the difference with set-plays is the key to getting three points."
