Dijon 2-1 PSG: Parisians suffer shock defeat to bottom side despite Mbappe goal

Paris Saint-Germain led Dijon through a Kylian Mbappe strike, yet goals either side of half-time earned the Ligue 1 strugglers a 2-1 win.

The home side had never previously beaten PSG in eight top-flight attempts and it appeared the game would run true to form when they found themselves a goal down through Kylian Mbappe's clinical strike.

But Thomas Tuchel's side were guilty of coasting when in front and were made to pay by strikes from Mounir Chouiar and Jhonder Cadiz either side of half-time.

PSG twice hit the frame of the goal and missed a glut of late chances as they went in search of a leveller that did not arrive, meaning just a third loss of the season in all competitions.

Chouiar is alert and pounces on the loose ball. He holds his composure to bury a right-footed strike into the bottom right corner amid a crowd of bodies in the box.

Cadiz scores a brilliant individual goal, turning past several challenges before burying his effort past Navas. The forward collects on the left flank and twists and turns his way past Marquinhos. He fakes the strike on his right foot and then goes back on to his left. Cadiz still has work to do, but he places his effort under Navas into the back of the net.

Mbappe feeds the ball into Icardi, who rolls it back towards Di Maria on the edge of the box. The Argentine strikes at goal, but sends his effort straight at Gomis.

69' OFF THE POST! Paredes almost equalizes for PSG

Paredes is denied by the woodwork. A PSG corner is cleared as far as the midfielder on the edge of the box. He controls it with his chest and goes for a strike with the outside of his right boot. It swerves through a crowd of players before smacking into the post and bouncing clear. Agony for the visitors.
