Mauro Icardi has officially left the Inter training camp by mutual consent and will continue fitness work by himself in Milan, announced the club.
“Mauro Icardi will return to Milan today from the Lugano pre-season training camp,” read a statement.
“The club and the Argentine striker made this decision by mutual consent. Icardi will continue his fitness conditioning work over the next few days and will not take part in the Summer Tour in Asia.”
Icardi and Radja Nainggolan have reportedly been excluded from tactical training sessions with new Coach Antonio Conte.
Realising he had no hope of changing the club’s mind, it’s claimed he got on a train and left the Inter camp for a return to Milan.
Inter have slapped a €60m price-tag on the forward, which is half the €120m wanted for him a year ago.
While Napoli had seemed prepared to pay that sum, reports today again suggest Icardi only wants to join Juventus.

Serie A clubs: "We're sick of Juventus winning the league every season." Also Serie A clubs: sell their best players to Juventus every summer Icardi WAS our best player. No longer IS.

We can't just 'ship him off to the highest bidder' unfortunately. It's not that we are 'giving in' to his wishes but that regardless of a transfer fee we agree to, Icardi still has to agree to personal terms. If we have an agreement with say, Atletico Madrid, but Icardi doesn't want to go there no matter what, he will not sign a new contract with them and we can't sell him. So yeah its fucked, nothing you can do but sell to a team he wants to go to, or keep him. Either sell him to Juve or keep him on reserves while we pay his salary and his value drops further Edit: grammar I've never disliked a stranger in my life as much as I dislike wanda nara
