The feud between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba might not be a surprise - the Man Utd boss Mourinho has had a long history of falling out with his players in the past. Why not pick your best XI with a 4-3-3 formation from these guys?

Goalkeeper

Iker Casillas – Dropped at Real Madrid after calling friend Xavi following a heated El Clasico.

Vitor Baia – Banned from FC Porto for a month after training ground bust-up.

Defenders

Luke Shaw – Told to grow up. Playing with his body but Mourinho's brain. At one point a constant target for criticism.

Antonio Valencia – Mourinho publicly claimed the right-back arrived for pre-season out of shape.

Chris Smalling – Publicly slated for being too cautious during his recovery from an injury in 2016/17.

Phil Jones – Like Smalling, called out for not rushing back from injury to help United when short of players.

Pepe – The Portuguese defender backed Casillas, and was subsequently dropped.

Sergio Ramos – Offered ultimatum to Real president. Mourinho ended up leaving.

David Luiz - Mourinho sold Luiz upon his return to Chelsea and insisted that the defender "would not be missed". 

Midfielders

Bastian Schweinsteiger – Banished to the reserves and written off as a loss before leaving for Chicago Fire.

Juan Mata - Stopped speaking in 2014 and 'no dialogue' over the departure from Chelsea to United. Now on better terms.

Kevin De Bruyne – Claimed Mourinho only spoke to him twice at Chelsea.

Paul Pogba - This is known to all.

Pedro Leon - Mourinho told Leon that even if the team plane crashed without him on it and he was the only man available, he still would not play the following week.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan – Frozen out for two months after his arrival from Dortmund before eventually getting sold

Kaka – Left to rot on the bench at the Bernabeu, after signing for £56m

Mesut Ozil – Called a coward during a dressing room rant

Forwards

Samuel Eto'o - Mourinho was recorded doing banter about Eto'o's indeterminate age, describing the Cameroon striker as "32 years old, maybe 35, who knows?" Eto'o labelled Mourinho a "fool" and a "puppet".

Jesse Lingard – One of four slammed in the goalless draw against West Brom during the 2016/17 season.

Anthony Martial – One of the four criticised. Also been attacked for not returning to pre-season after the birth of his baby.

Marcus Rashford – The Portuguese boss ignored his front four post-match back in April 2017.

Ricardo Quaresma – Warned about poor mentality and loaned out before being sold.

Eden Hazard - One of many, many players to seemingly fall out with Mourinho during his acrimonious final (half) season at Chelsea. Pointedly stated that it took Mourinho's replacement, Antonio Conte, just one week to improve him as a player.

Cristiano Ronaldo – Also clashed over Mourinho's treatment of Casillas.

Mario Balotelli – Axed from Inter's Champions League squad after a ferocious row.

David Suazo - Mourinho failed to give David Suazo much of a chance when he took over at Inter in 2008 and criticised him in the press before farming him out on loan to Benfica. "Mourinho is arrogant and selfish, and likes to assert his dominance," Suazo said.

Romelu Lukaku - "The thinking behind the move was the fact that Romelu was always very clear with us, in his mentality, in his approach, he was not highly motivated to come to a competitive situation at Chelsea," Mourinho said.

Mohamed Salah - Salah made just 13 EPL appearances for Chelsea the course of almost two seasons and was considered a 'flop', with the Portuguese failing to figure out a way to deploy the forward effectively.
