Thibaut Courtois has revealed how himself and Eden Hazard dreamt of making the move to Real Madrid during their days together at Chelsea.
The goalkeeper ended up joining Los Blancos in 2018 and he was joined by Hazard one year later.
"In the Chelsea dressing room, we were talking about the possibility of playing here," Courtois told El Mundo.
"'The White House, the White House...', we said.
"It was nice to speculate about it.
"Now we are very eager to win trophies."
May 24 marks the sixth anniversary of Sergio Ramos' legendary stoppage-time header to take the Champions League final to extra time, as Real Madrid went on to beat Atletico Madrid and lift La Decima.
Courtois was in goal for Atletico that day and Real Madrid got Ramos and Luka Modric to recreate the goal, but the Belgian was not present.
"It was very, very close to my hand," Courtois stated when asked about the goal.
"From time to time we see it on Real Madrid TV.
"For me it is sad, but it is already forgotten."

Yeah and 1 of them was a professional who left after doing everything he could for the club while the other one had a good spell at Atletico and got too big headed and left the club in crisis.

Happy u have achieved your goal, but learn to appreciate everyone who helped you on your way to living your dream and appreciate them unlike using them as ladder to achieve your dream. Hurts to learn your heart was set on Madrid/ white House as u name it even when u were at Chelsea. Chelsea made u a number one stopper replacing petter cech whose heart was bleeding blue thinking u will be Chelsea for life and make Chelsea family happy again. Better still best of lucky guy and happy to live our dreams.
