37' GOAL! Germany 0-1 Brazil (Jesus)
Goal! Gabriel Jesus heads Brazil into a 0-1 lead. Great play from Willian to set up the goal.
In the absence of Neymar, there was no plan to attack with abandon. Tite's side set up respectfully; as Paulinho, Fernandinho and Casemiro strengthened the midfield and a dogged front three of Willian, Gabriel Jesus and Coutinho counter-attacked.
Coutinho came closest to an early breakthrough, as his trickery deceived three Germans to burst into the penalty area. Soon after, Manchester City forward Jesus sprang the offside trap, working a clear sight of goal but blasting over the bar.
Yet he soon made amends, as Willian earned space on the right and curled a cross that Jesus headed with power towards the German goal. Goalkeeper Kevin Trapp reacted but could only fall backwards and spill the ball into the goal.

Revenge but not a sweet revenge. But without Neymar Brazil won. Coutinho played well. Defence was very good of Brazil.

Brazil in no way "dominated" Germany tonight. Brazil had a lot of 1st team player out there while Germany was a huge mix of 2nd 3rd team player. I have to say.....They really impressed me tonight. This match was in no way easy for Brazil at all. This just shows how dominant Germany will be in the future and at this World Cup. We all just saw what happened to Argentina and they were only missing a few of their 1st team (Like 3 player) they surly will not make any final anytime soon. As for this game, North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and Africa have been put on notice by this young German side. I believe it will be Spain and Germany in the final unless they meet sooner, that match I do not want to predict yet. Argentina will need to get lucky in who they are drawn against (If they even make it out of the group stage) Brazil will win their group pretty comfortably so will Germany, and Spain. I do believe Portugal might make an early exit this year again like when USA eliminated them from the round of 16. Overall I'm pretty confident that Germany will defend the World Cup if they get anyone in the knockout besides Spain and France (I do believe they would beat them Spain and France though) as for France I see them either Makin it to the final or semi-final but I don't see them winning, same with Spain.

I am so happy they lost. Germany have been working on Brazils and Argentinas nerves since forever. I hope Germany know that this defeat is just the beginning, come the world cup Argentina and Brazil will make it to the final vs showcasing the best of the south American giants...Messi vs neymar. It will be glorious, and where will Germany be..on an aeroplane back to Berlin watching Argentina and Messi finally holding the trophy they deserve.

All German fans reaction ....

The Brazilian first team "dominated" a German side comprised of second and third teamers...lol. Dude, get a grip on reality, if that's domination, you have set the bar way to low. Spain is dominating Argentina...BRAZIL got lucky in squeaking out a victory over Germany.

That was by far the worst game of Germany in a long time. Only one test but there was nothing, no movement has won every single battle Brazil. And the commentator always with his good first half Germany. If Brazil plays their chances right loses Germany here 3.4 null..The only one I liked was Gündogan.Sane did not use his chance and Trapp was very insecure. That was nothing today!

Revenge? Seriously? Brazil didn't beat Germany as much as a Trapp keeper fail did. The fact that Brazilian first team had serious difficulty beating a Germany team comprised mostly of second and third teamers should be a cause of concern to the Brazilian coach, not a cause for celebration. If Brazilians think they just beat Germany they are kidding themselves; a world cup rematch with Germany won't be against a side anywhere close to resembling the same team they just played. The German coach is a genius for using this game to try out younger players, and not caring about the 22 game unbeaten streak and all the hype, and using it to see what he's really got at his disposal to fill in slots on the first team. In the process he may have also given the Brazilians a false sense of security going forward. Were it not for Trapp's flub, it would have been a draw, it was hardly a legitimate goal for the Brazilian side, it was lucky. If anything, the Brazilian side should be worried about their own performance tonight and not celebrating their "victory", their first team does not look capable of beating the current Spanish side, or the German first team at this point in time.
