Philippe Coutinho insisted he was 'happy' after compounding Barcelona's humiliation by scoring twice and recording an assist in Bayern Munich's thrashing of his parent club.
The Brazilian is the Catalan giants' record signing but has spent the year on loan at the Bundesliga champions.
The 28-year-old came off the bench with fifteen minutes remaining but still assisted Robert Lewandowski before adding two strikes himself with five and one minute to go respectively as Bayern ran out 8-2 winners in Lisbon.
And speaking after the game, Coutinho showed no mercy for his parent club after their worst defeat since 1940.
'It was an important match between two of the best clubs of the world ', he said before and assuring that he leaves 'happy' as Bayern reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.

why should he not be happy? he got to play, he got to humiliate the ones who thought he was useless just because he didn't fit a trashy system... this goes on to show how a player shines when the system is good!!

Coutinho is very talented. Such a fantastic player any day. The problem with Barcelona is that Messi, just like in his native Argentina dictates who coach and which player plays for any team he also play for. He singlehandedly axed Dybala from the national team. He's not comfortable with Coutinho from the very day he was signed. The streams of coaches sacked from the Barcelona team has a tale if stories. Where was the King then in Lisbon?
