Bayern Munich's president, Uli Hoeness, told club fans that he thought Neymar was overrated and that they could not afford the astronomic fees paid by Paris Saint-Germain for the Brazilian and Mbappe.
The German side were reportedly interested in Neymar when he was at Santos but baulked at the 24 million asking fee.
"Neymar does not seem so good to me," Hoeness said during a Christmas dinner with supporters.
"We can not invest with figures like that, not even 180m for Mbappe, who I think is very good."

i disagree. Brazilian footballers show an entertaining football. so did happen to neymar. not just a good individual skill but also good teamwork.
