Antonio Conte has become one of the hot favourites to replace Jose Mourinho as manager of Manchester United.
The former Chelsea boss was axed late into the summer to make way for fellow Italian Maurizio Sarri, but his future could still be in the Premier League.
Manchester United’s dismal start to the season has been dominated by the tensions around Mourinho, particularly an open feud with record signing Paul Pogba.
According to the latest reports in England, the club hierarchy would rather sack Mou than risk losing the France international.
Zinedine Zidane remains the favourite to replace him at Old Trafford, but bookmakers have slashed the odds on Conte taking over from 14/1 to just 5/1.
The former Juventus boss has already worked very well with Pogba in Turin in 2012-14.
He then won the Premier League and FA Cup in two years at Chelsea, during which time he clashed repeatedly with Mourinho in the media.
It’s worth noting the same bookmakers have new Napoli Coach Carlo Ancelotti at 14/1 for Manchester United, the same odds inexplicably as Juventus boss Max Allegri.

Chelsea have grown so much since Abramovich era, so much that a whole Man United has become our dumping ground (Mata, Matic, Mourinho and now Conte).. Probably they'll be coming for Luiz next season because he is getting weak.

Conte?mmmmh he is a good guy but not the best choice for Manchester united job...Let Jose finish his Contract damn it..I now understand why Jose wanted to sign a Center back..for sure we need just miracles in our defense.. we are so exposed but above all I back Jose to finish his Contract, its early to judge him now for only One defeat.

Why Joseph Mourinho is always trying to play blame game? No player can perform better under your managerial skill. Look at Alex , Pobga, and all your signings no one has done good only boring because of poor tactics. Look at Makhtaria is doing great and wonderful job.
