David Moyes has admitted that the last time he cried was when Manchester United sacked him.
And the 56-year-old has now made an honest admission over how much pain it caused him while on talkSPORT this morning.
Asked by presenter Alan Brazil when it was that he last cried, Moyes said: 'Probably when I was sacked by Manchester United'.
It is not as though United's fortunes have taken a massive upswing in the time after Moyes's sacking.
They are on their third permanent manager, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho.
They are also no closer to capturing the Premier League and are currently sixth in the top flight, struggling to qualify for next season's Champions League.
Moyes is convinced they have not improved since he left Old Trafford: 'I feel that since I took over to where they are just now, I don't think there's an awful lot of difference.
'When I took over it was needing a change and needing a turnaround of players, and that was all going to take time.
'I feel like in the four years or so since I was managing there, it's probably not moved on much more.
'It's quite similar, they're still saying there needs to be changes and has to be things done. That time since I left hasn't been used awfully well.'

Moyes created all the damage that we are encountering today. In administration we called something veterans prevencess which he did not take into consideration.

No need to cry. Frankly speaking, you are one of the main reason utd declined so badly. Instead of continuity, you sack the whole backroom staffs and coaches Brought in your rubbish and taught the team crosses after crosses. That team had van persie. Carrick. Mata, rooney. Nani.. That's when our play quality took a nose dive. Our coaches were 1st class and proven.

moyes sir, you have every right to feel sad, and i'm sorry that it had to be that way, also sorry for LVG, & mourinho, & like you said we're still no closer to anything as we failed to improve, all because of our management is poor, but this time the boards of utd seems to realise their short comings and trying to work it out along with our manager, solskjaer...still has to go a long way though...lets hope for the best for manchester united. & good luck to you too moyes sir.

it was all about management getting everything wrong after the gaffer retirement first things was that if they had had wanted immediate success after Sir's departure they should have gone one of the top coaches at that moment but since they didn't n have wanted Moyes in should have given him time to build his ideas into the team but could endure the result that Moyes was given out, and they most annoying part was that they took that same decision again by give the job to LVG other we all know that that very moment we were nt going to be guaranteed with instance success so why didn't they level him to also continue his job to build up this ideas united would have bn better off by now if LVG was till to be around because he was building philosophy just like klopp has done with with liverpool now but the board was all blinded with instant success again so the comes Jose ...and the whole sh..t continues again this board are loosing it one need to put them on their toes that get to know how our teams in nw was will need time to get back to glory days a gain so the shld stick with one manager and give him the necessary support he needs and surely he will deliver.

The first big mistake of sir Alex was recommending Moyes as his successor..Second mistake is recommended for phil jones to be a legend at United..I can't imagine how he did these mistakes
