Aston Villa 1-2 Manchester United: Erik ten Hag's side strengthened their Champions League ambitions with victory at Villa Park.
Match Report
Rasmus Hojlund took a while to get off the mark in the Premier League after arriving at Old Trafford, but the Dane is now well and truly off to the races.
Harry Maguire rose high from a corner knocking the ball towards the young forward, who deftly placed his strike beyond Emi Martinez to give United an early lead.
Villa continued their hunt for an equaliser after the restart and again the breakthrough came from a corner as Douglas Luiz was on hand to level from close range.
The game looked destined to end level before substitute Scott McTominay once again proved the difference maker, with his header once again giving United the lead.

Villa were dominant because United let them. They had a goal and wanted to protect their lead. It happens kid, the leading team sort of sits back and lets the opponent take possession, push forward and get them on the counter. You'll notice that after conceding the equalizer, the team starts to take back possession in search of a winner. This happened even against wolves and in many other countless matches. Welcome to the world of tactical football kid, at least now you've learned something today
calling me kid several times won't justify your explanation. Just because you got the winner, you can vomit & fart anything out. Teamwork, possession, passing, through balls and skills of villa players, all you are calling normal as United had a 1 goal lead, so they were defending for the whole match? villa were dominant because united let them? take your medicines on time.

Am a MAN CITY FAN but to tell you the truth am so very happy to see Man U back in their winning ways. I watched this game from the beginning to end. I don’t love when Man U is being insulted nor its coach football is all about giving time
