Juventus' hopes of a fifth successive domestic double were extinguished after they were knocked out of the Coppa Italia by Atalanta in a 3-0 quarter-final defeat that marked their first domestic loss of the season and saw Massimiliano Allegri sent off.

39'GOAL! Atalanta 2-0 Juventus (Zapata)

Match Reports:
Massimiliano Allegri was sent from the touchline as Juventus' dominance of the Coppa Italia was ended by Atalanta.
The Bianconeri went into Wednesday's tie in Bergamo on the back of an extremely unconvincing performance in a 2-1 Serie A win over Lazio that sent them 11 points clear at the top.
And they were underwhelming again at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia as they were undone by an Atalanta side that is the most prolific in Serie A, having scored 47 goals.

I have always been saying this , Allegri is not good enough for juventus and I don’t know why Juventus management doesn’t understand this . Juventus have a lots of talented players and yet plays ugly football week in and out . My point are : before a match day , you train together, during the training period you learn a lot of things, like taking free kicks, conner kicks etc . You also build the chemistry with the players. Juventus doesn’t have any of this . Their corner kicks are Wasteful and also free kicks etc . No team work no chemistry. They only thing Allegri does with this team is defense. Any average team with a good coach will either beat Juventus or always give them problems. Atletico ain’t a small team , they are very good with a very good coach. Juventus do not have a natural 9 . They keep buying up old players and old defensive players... what a joke . Don’t get me wrong people, Ronaldo is very good but definitely can’t do it alone. Take for example today, there was no decent passes made to Ronaldo and whenever he runs up front on his own nobody to support him and you call Allegri a coach. Allegri has no tactics no game plan apart from playing defensive. He’s absolutely a joke . This Juventus team should be playing beautifully and winning easily. How will you take out Dybala and leave old sami on . That’s crazy 😜 i am not surprise that Juventus lost today because it’s been coming. I am scared that the same thing may happen against Atletico n few weeks time. Because our defense is weak without bunochi and chelini . This’s a nightmare. Fire Allegri now or its over for juventus.

The worst attacking strategy ... when Allegri knows that Atlanta will play attacking and counter attacking ...Why didn't he change the tactics ...and what in the hell the defenders are doing .. Its like watching Chelsea having the ball doing actually nothing...

It's crazy but understandable. Atlanta is one of those teams that can be at 4th or 7th place and somehow cause a major upset. I've seen them beat countless big clubs when they're with their backs against the wall. I hope people don't think Juventus are not contenders cos of this, cos when you look at it even both Napoil and Inter barely beat/drew to their opponents in each game. Weird day today....

With this kind of play, Juventus is not going to win ucl ever. Juve needs a good midfielder and backs like mercelo. As of today's match, too many mistakes from defenders and no sign of attacking threats. Everybody going to criticize cr7 and it is right to do so. It looks like Mandzukic is needed as cr7 always get crowded by opponent. Cr7 when playing on the flange, he plays better as compared to playing at centre striker. Douglas costa, dybala, barnendeski, Alex Sandro etc all are ineffective. They even don't know how to produce a good crosses. All their crosses were either over kicked or just pass to the opponent.

Don't talk about one lost match...They r also lost their defenders...so Atlanta took chances very well...They deserved it...Juve will come stronger...Don't worry...there may be a bad time for all..it Just came for Juve today...Also don't blame Ronaldo...very very poor passes from midfield except bernardeshi played his part..Not many passes to ronaldo...Always crossing the balls but it all going away...Ronaldo can't do anything...And also if Ronaldo got the ball all defenders r facing him...so he can't even hit the target...There was no spaces to hit...Very poor play from defenders which lead to Lose...This is just one match...So be cool and trust Juve.
