Athletic Club have displayed their gratitude to the medical professionals treating patients with the coronavirus with a message of thanks emblazoned across Estadio San Mames.
Applause rang around Spanish cities at 22:00 CET to pay homage to medics all across the country and the Basque club ensured that they also sent their appreciation.
"Thanks for looking after us," was the message illuminated across the outer part of the stadium in Bilbao.
Over 6,000 people in Spain have been infected by the virus and around 190 have died as a result.
