According to Sky, Timo Werner is on the verge to join Spurs on a 6-months-loan!

The 27 y/o is ready to leave the training camp of RB Leipzig soon. 

The former Chelsea forward moved back to the Bundesliga after a star-crossed two-year spell in west London which saw him fail to entirely recapture his early promise.

The 27-year-old later returned to his former club in 2022, but this season has struggled for minutes against the backdrop of persistent injury and a stuttering of form.

In his 14 appearances across all competitions this season, the Germany international has only scored twice and registered a further assist.

But Ange Postecoglou's side could be the team to hand him a return to Premier League action, beating out rivals for the forward's signature, Manchester United.

The Red Devils began circling Werner in late 2023, and were widely expected to be the front runners for his signature if he was prepared to move on in the January window.
