Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo has reported that 'Laporte on the radar' on today's cover.
The report says that Barca have reactivated their interest in the Manchester City centre-back who fits their requirements.
MD believes the Franch, who will not be able to play in Champions League due to Man City's 2-year UEFA ban, also knows Barcelona are interested in him.
However, the Man City star revealed in a recent interview that he is 'very happy' at the club despite their UCL ban.
"Obviously it would hurt us a lot if we aren't in the Champions League next season.
"I am very happy here at Manchester City. I am enjoying my football here. We are doing great things here. In the last two years we have won eight trophies."

So what is Barca board up to at all ? I just don't understand them!!! Barca had the chance to buy Laporte when he was at Athletic Club yet they allowed City to snatch him. Now that he's an injury prone player we want him. Is barca not a big club any longer ? How can we add laporte who is a left footed player to Umtiti & Lenglet who are all left footed players? We need a right footed defender to ensure a balance at the defends. If this is in deed true, then this is the worst Barca board I've ever seen.
