Barcelona are considering making a move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul despite his release clause standing at an eye-watering £134million.
Saul has been on Barcelona's radar since 2013 when they included a right of first refusal for the midfielder in the deal that saw David Villa move to Atletico from the Nou Camp.
The 23-year-old has caught their attention once again after starring for the national side in Spain's wins over England and Croatia this month.
Should Atletico Madrid ever look to sell star player Saul Niguez, Barcelona will have the right of first refusal on his services and would therefore be front runners to take him to the Camp Nou.

we shouldve done this before they hiked up his release clause 2017 Summer when he renewed. im happy barca are willing to ignore his heart condition and make a bid, though i think its too late, we couldve gotten the part Real, part Atleti academy graduate for less 2017 summer window before he got hyped. now, it will be also gard for him to want to leave Atleti

Well probably Barca is preparing for the departure of Sergio Busquets..so they need not seek for a replacement judging by the inflation of the market now. After what happened with Neymar JR..it was difficult getting a replacement therefore leading to the purchase of Dembele at that high price. Left for me,the players already on the bench are enough,but its good to have that much quality! FORCA BARCA!💪
