The director of Institutional Relations of Barça tried to be positive after the defeat against Atletico in the Supercopa semifinal.
Guillermo Amor, director of Institutional Relations of Barcelona, regretted that they were eliminated of the Spanish Super Cup, but made it clear that there will be no earthquake. "When you've played football you know that these things can happen especially with strong teams, everything can spin very fast, what you think is won you can lose," said Amor in Movistar after the clash.
"We are angry about how the team has played today, but we have to be united and think about the Villareal game. There's full confidence in the team, the players, and in this case, I think, naturally, also in the manager," added Amor.
When asked if the latest capitulation would mean the end of Valverde, Amor denied any such talk.
"On what you say about Valverde, there will be nothing of the sort."
