Barca to pay Prestianni's release clause to land new star of Argentine football

Vélez Sarsfield, a team that plays in the top flight in Argentina, could strike gold with three big transfers, one of which being Gianluca Prestianni to Barcelona.

As reported by Hablemos de Vélez TV, Prestianni will be sold to Barça. The young Argentine made his debut with his club in the Primera Division at the age of 16 years and three months, has already featured in the Copa Libertadores and is one of the most valuable youngsters in South American football.

Other big clubs like Real Madrid have also set their sights on the winger, and his representative Rolando Zárate, a former Madrid player, could have facilitated a move to the Spanish capital. But in the end, he has reportedly chosen Barça and it will be the Catalan club that will pay €3 million for the signing of Prestianni.

Hablemos de Vélez TV published the news on social media. "Barcelona is going to pay the clause for Prestianni. Three big sales for Vélez. Perrone, Orellano and Prestianni."

Prestianni, who will turn 17 in January, is a winger.
