It’s reported Barcelona want Lazio’s Luis Alberto as a replacement for Andres Iniesta this summer.
The veteran midfielder is expected to leave the Blaugrana after the current campaign, to continue his career in MLS or the Chinese Super League.
According to this morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport, Barça are considering Luis Alberto as a replacement, and sent scouts to watch him in Sunday night’s Derby della Capitale.
The Catalan club did loan him from Sevilla for the 2012-13 season, but the attacking midfielder wasn’t signed permanently after 11 goals in 38 games for the B team.
Lazio would demand at least €30m for Luis Alberto, who has 10 goals and 16 assists in all competitions this season.

I won't act like I know Alberto and how he plays but what I can say is that Barca already have players at the club who can not fill the Iniesta role but who they can mold in becoming someone who fits the role and the playing style going forward......I think that even with iniesta gone Barca would still have that firm and steady midfield......and they have Coutinho who can play very well in the three man midfield and he did extremely well in Barca recently win with the two assists which led to the 2 goals win.....he's just brilliant and if he's to stay at Barca for many more years to come he's going to be exceptionally brilliant not just for Barca.
