Bayern Munich added insult to injury with a dominant performance on the road at Barcelona, beating them 3-0 on the night they had been dumped out of the Champions League before they could even kick a ball.

Serge Gnabry provided both assists as Sadio Mane and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored once each in 21 minutes to put the Bavarians ahead after a dominant first half performance in which the hosts failed to have a single shot on target.

Benjamin Pavard then added a third in added time to seal the three points for the Bavarian side and convert Gnabry's third assist of the evening.

Barcelona had been knocked out of the running for the knockout stages by Inter Milan, who beat Viktoria Plzen to take the second available spot from group C in the early kick-off.
