Barcelona 4-2 Tottenham: Late goals from Fati & co ruin Spurs after Skipp double

  /  R47

Late goals from Ansu Fati and Abde Ezzalzouli gave Barcelona a 4-2 win over Spurs in the Joan Gamper Trophy despite two goals from Oliver Skipp.

Match Report

The stoppage time winners tore the wind out of Ange Postecoglou's side after what had been a generally encouraging evening.

Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring three minutes in before two goals from Skipp gave Spurs an unexpected lead at the break.

But Barcelona were the better team for most of the match and when Ferran Torres struck with ten minutes to go, they looked most likely to go on and win.

Substitutes Fati and Ezzalzouli finished the job for Barca after a game which will leave Postecoglou wondering quite how his team fell away.
