Barcelona sports chief Deco is in contact with Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Off contract in June, Vlahovic is under consideration for a Bosman move to Barca by Deco.
Tuttosport says the Serb's Bosman status is appealing to Barca and Deco is now in talks with the striker's camp.
Deco sees Vlahovic as a potential replacement for veteran centre-forward Robert Lewandowski.
Like Vlahovic, Lewandowski's contract expires at the end of the season and talks over a new deal are yet to kickoff.
