Despite their ongoing injuries in attack, Barcelona remain steadfast in their pursuit of landing Lautaro Martinez in the summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan giants' No 1 target in the off-season remains the Inter Milan striker.
The Spanish publication claims that Martinez can be bought for £93.4million during a two-week span in July.
Martinez has shone at Inter this campaign as they battle it out with Juventus and Lazio for the Serie A title.
The 22-year-old has scored 16 goals in 27 appearances for Antonio Conte's side in all competitions - forming a devastating strike partnership with Romelu Lukaku too.
Barcelona's attack is currently threadbare due to Luis Suarez (knee) and fellow forward Ousmane Dembele (hamstring) being out of action.
The club are trying to sign a new striker despite the transfer window being shut.
Barca will be allowed to sign an emergency replacement for Dembele, a £100m signing from Dortmund in 2017, by proving his hamstring injury will keep him out for the season.
Dembele could be out for up to six months due to the severity of his hamstring tear.
The club reportedly have a four-man shortlist with Willian Jose, Angel Rodriguez, Lucas Perez and Loren Moron all being considered.
LaLiga rules state that Barcelona can sign a forward playing in Spain for domestic competitions if a medical assessment proves Dembele will not return this season.
It means they will still be short of options in the Champions League. They face Napoli in the last 16 after league games against Getafe and Eibar.

I will only sign Alexis Sanchez if given the opportunity, some may say Lautaro has more goals than Sanchez but if Sanchez plays regularly for 2month, Lautaro can't be compared to him. Richarlison, Lautaro, Lacazette et al are in the same category. Go for Sanchez and make him play consistently during pre-season and also play the first 10 games and watch his stats

I think this deal will benefit Us a lot, £93 is huge some of money that we can use and invest in our squad to compete for the Champions League next season.

You'll rather sign a 30 something year old player as a back up for a 30+ Luis Suarez, right? Lautaro is young and hungry, he's in the same mould as Luis Suarez, a fighter like Arturo Vidal. If Sanchez was available for free, I wouldn't even consider bringing him, I'd stick with Fati.
