Barcelona's pursuit of Antoine Griezmann doesn't seem to have faded away completely, even after the Frenchman rejected the Catalan club at the end of last season.
Just when the speculation had died down, Atletico Madrid's defeat in the Champions League seems to have thrown the forward's future into doubt once more.
Griezmann is considering his future after Atletico crashed out of Europe's premier club competition at the hands of Juventus, according to French newspaper L'Equipe.
The article also says that Griezmann's current buyout clause of 200 million euros will fall to 120 million euros in June.
This lower price is a more reachable figure for Barcelona, who turned down a move during a reality TV series that aired last June called 'The Decision'.

I prefer Harry Kane, Firmino or Mbape to Griezman. He refused the offer and Barca should not beg him as if the team is crisis when it has youthful players in the team B who are fruitful. Bring Harry Kane or Mbape at Camp Nou.

Griezmann is not a selfish player and can easily fit in Barca's playing style. The only thing that bothered me is the clear lack of respect towards Barca that I sensed in one of his statement when questioned on his potential move. But while Barca buy now to make up for the poor output of their La Massia these days, they must think a plan to make their academy more productive so as to fetch talents directly from it instead of buying as they're doing now.

we don't need another fortnite player on Barca. how about promoting Riqui Puig to the first team . That kid could help a ton in mid field . He is a gifted wonderful player that has followed Messi from his youth days . Also Aleña is another option up front . we have all seen the caliber of player he is and his potential.
