After losing Rafinha to a long-term injury at the weekend, Barcelona are not planning to enter the January transfer window to find a replacement.
The Brazilian will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament against Atletico Madrid, however, the club believe they have enough attacking players to cover his absence.
Ernesto Valverde and the Camp Nou hierarchy see Philippe Coutinho, Malcom, Ousmane Dembele and Arturo Vidal as sufficient ammunition for their attacking midfield.
Also, Carles Alena, who has a similar profile, will have signed a first-team contract by winter.
Even Denis Suarez could be given more game time although the player's intention was to leave in January.
Considering all this, Barcelona are not planning to change their transfer strategy and will instead focus on strengthening other positions like left-back, central defence, defensive midfield and the forward line.
All these areas will be looked at between the winter and summer windows and could be affected by a number of situations like Samuel Umtiti's knee or the market itself and whether Adrien Rabiot and Frenkie de Jong can be seduced to the Camp Nou.

Our coach and the board are all quacks they should all leave!!! We have a lot talents onthe bench and from barca B why not use them. 1. Look at the way he was benching semedo and how we were leaking in goals. 2. Notice how long it takes for him to make changes when we are down and really need someone to change the game. 3. He can’t make a change when ever we have two midfielders both on a yellow card(it costed a red for rakitic the game against Betis). 4. The previous game he started Vidal to partner messi and Suarez instead of dembele and Vidal inthe midfield for S.Roberto. 5. My last point is that Dembele should stay and the coach must go.!!!!
