The start to the 2018/19 LaLiga Santander season has been a positive one for Barcelona and the good play of their front three of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele has been a major factor in this.
They have scored eight leagues goals between them so far this year and they all netted in the same game for the first time against Huesca, but they have been assisting each other and their fellow teammates too.
Last season, the three players combined for 42 assists and they've already had five this season, with Messi responsible for three of them and Suarez for two.
"I used to like to score and had the mentality that I had to score, but now I experience the game differently and prefer to assist than to score myself," Messi recently explained in an interview with Catalunya Radio.
Having already set up 150 goals in the Spanish first division, the Argentine is a master of assisting his teammates and this seems to be rubbing off on his attacking colleagues.
Now, they're not far off their 50th combined assist since Dembele's arrival.
