Bayern took the lead early on through Benjamin Pavard who scored from close range after getting on the end of Kingsley Coman's shot.

Hoffenheim equalised in the second half when Andrej Kramaric netted a stunning free-kick.

Thomas Tuchel's Bayern almost took the lead straight back through Pavard again but the goal was ruled out for offside.

Bayern had a flurry of chances towards the end of the game but failed to take any of them.
