Bayern Munich responded to their Champions League quarter final elimination at the hands of Villarreal with a comfortable win over Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday.

The 3-0 win means the Bavarians could clinch the Bundesliga title next week if they beat rivals Borussia Dortmund.

It took just ten minutes for the visitors to take the lead, as Alphonso Davies' cross was diverted into his own net by Jacob Laursen.

Serge Gnabry made it 2-0 in first half injury time. The German winger received a fine pass from Joshua Kimmich over the top of the defence and beat the goalkeeper with a volley.

The win was capped off late on by Jamal Musiala. The youngster started the counter-attack after a great save by Manuel Neuer and he himself finished it off after a neat exchange with Robert Lewandowski.

Their tenth consecutive Bundesliga title will be sealed if they are to beat Dortmund next week.
