Bayern Munich will take a close look at transfer target Aaron Ramsey in Cardiff on Friday night.
Scouts from the German giant will be in the stands at the Cardiff City Stadium when Denmark play Wales with Ramsey their major interest.
Ramsey is in advanced negotiations with Bayern over a contract that would start when his Arsenal deal expires next summer.
Arsenal withdrew the offer of a £250,000-per-week four-year contract last month, with Unai Emery preferring to pursue other midfield options. But Bayern are very keen to sign the Wales midfielder on a free.
Ryan Giggs believes Ramsey can play anywhere in Europe, and would be a bargain.
'He's been linked with everyone, which is expected because he's a quality player,' said Giggs, who plans to start Ramsey against Denmark despite his intermittent displays for Arsenal.
'I think he's played enough,' added Giggs. 'I think he's done OK. He started last week in the Europa League, a slightly different role for Arsenal against Sporting, a bit deeper. But he's fine, he's good.
Ashley Williams said his teammate could be a success in the Bundesliga. 'He can cut it,' he said. 'It's not really a surprise. His quality speaks for itself. He's been doing it for years now, he's not a young lad now. He's done it at international level and in the Premier League and Europe.
'I'm sure a lot of big teams will be interested in him. For us, he's obviously one of the most important players in our team and we are happy he is back.
'He gives us something a little bit different to the other players in the squad. He can do something you wouldn't expect. He's one of the leaders of the team so he's very important.
'I've played with him for years and he's massive. We want all of our experienced and best players on the pitch as much as possible.'

Emery is getting rid of all Wenger's favourites by the looks of things. Ramsey out, a decent midfielder in and Xhaka down the pecking order.

He wont go to Bayern. 99% of British players are terrified of moving to Europe. Total lack of ambition. He'll end up at a mid table prem team.

Bayern should go for Nicolas Pepe and Ndombele if they want to rejuvenate their team.

Ramsey averages 6 goals and six assists per season. He wants to be paid 200 grand per week for that output? The dude should have signed the contract when Wenger was at Arsenal. His current play hardly justifies his demands thus he would be better served trying to leave in January before he totally exposes himself as a medoicre player. I don't see him getting in United, City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal starting 11 so who is going to pay that kind of money for him?

Ramsey had one good season a few years back and has been either injured or average since.

The story has changed. Is it because it is unlikely he is going Bayern and more likely to stay in London....Chelsea?

Are sure you take a very close look, or you'll be throwing away £200k per week for the next 5 seasons.
