Fans have heaped praise on Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen after the goalkeeper made a number of fine saves to earn Barcelona a point in what proved to be a tough game at Atheltic Bilbao on Sunday.
The Catalans lead at the top now stands at six points after the stalemate at the San Mames but it could have been just five had it not been for the heroics of Ter Stegen.
The German made fives stops, including two stunners, to prevent what would have been a third league defeat of the season.
He was duly named the Man of the Match and viewers watching were clearly impressed, taking to social media to hail his display.
'Ter Stegen is the best goalkeeper on the planet', wrote one while another joked that he could 'save a PDF file from a calculator'.

He's not underrated. He's a good keeper we know, barca don't get to concede too many as they control play most times, ter stegen has shown himself since 2015 for best save in UCL against Bayern (muller) But you can't say he's the best in the world with reflexes. I give it to De Gea.
