Bielsa could drop Araujo this Monday before the expedition leaves for Bolivia

Bielsa could drop another player this Monday before the expedition leaves for Bolivia, and the Barça player could be one of them.

Ronald Araujo won't know until midday (late afternoon in Spain), before the Uruguay national team heads to Bolivia , whether he will travel with his teammates or whether he is ruled out and can return to Barcelona to play the postponed match against Osasuna on Thursday, scheduled for next Thursday at 9 p.m. Bielsa ruled out two of his players last Saturday, but it is not ruled out that the Uruguayan national team coach could leave out another player, considering he has 36 in the squad.

In yesterday's training session behind closed doors, Bielsa rehearsed with a starting lineup without any of the players who started against Argentina last Thursday at Montevideo's Centenario Stadium, where the Albiceleste won 0-1. Therefore, if he is not a starter, it would make no sense for the Barça center back to travel to Bolivia, knowing the needs his club has, especially given that Cubarsí and Iñigo Martínez , the starting pairing up until now in the center of the Barça defense, are both suffering due to injury.

If Araujo is not ultimately ruled out, Hansi Flick will have to improvise in defense against Osasuna, as he currently only has one center back available from the first team ( Eric Garcia ), while waiting for Cubarsí and Iñigo to recover for the match against the red-and-whites.
